Natural Cooling of Fan in Brick and Tile Factory
Customer: Brick and Tile Factory Area: Lagos, Nigeria
Application: Eagle Fan Structure: I-beam
Background
The factory is specializing in production and processing of clay refractory bricks, high alumina refractory bricks and other heat-resistant materials. The  headquarter is in Lagos State, Nigeria, with a scientific quality management system. The plant is over 20,000m² with annual production capacity of 10,000 tons.
Dilemma
1. The firing temperature of bricks and tiles is above 900℃, which requires 10 to 12 hours of firing. High temperature and long time firing make the internal temperature of the environment very high, resulting in stuffy and hypoxia.
2. In the hot environment, workers need to sweat a lot to dissipate excess heat and maintain body temperature. A lot of sweating will lead to the loss of salt, leading to decreased blood pressure, reduced efficiency, even various diseases.
Effectiveness
1. The brick and tile factory has 2 workshops, each with an area of more than 5,000m². On average, each workshop is equipped with 6 industrial ceiling fans with a diameter of 7.3 meters. A total of 12 fans are installed.
2. The VANSE industrial ceiling fan generates a breeze through the rotation of the fan blade, simulating the natural wind, promoting sweat evaporation, reducing the body temperature by 39.2-44.6°F, making employees comfortable.
3. A single industrial ceiling fan can cover an area of more than 16,000ft² with only 1.5KW power consumption per hour, while cooling personnel and products, getting a double advantage.
